The shortest of the three TEMPUR-Flat foundations. Same construction as the others — a solid wood-frame platform built to Tempur-Pedic's specification, completely rigid across the deck, which is what a TEMPUR mattress needs underneath it — at roughly 2 inches instead of 5 or 9.
Why you would choose this one. Two situations. A platform bed or a frame with a low deck, where even the 5-inch foundation would push the mattress above the rails and look wrong. Or one of the thickest mattresses in the line — a LuxeBreeze or an ActiveBreeze — inside a bed frame with a fixed headboard, where every inch under the mattress is an inch of headboard you lose.
The trade-off is real: a very low bed is harder to get out of, particularly for anyone with a bad hip or knee. If the finished height is the thing you care about, sit on all three profiles in the showroom with the mattress you are actually buying. It takes two minutes and it is not a decision worth guessing at.

The rule about foundations applies to all three: a TEMPUR mattress on widely spaced slats or an old coil box spring will conform to the gaps rather than to you, and it can affect the warranty. A flat rigid base is part of how the mattress works, not an accessory to it.
