Built to your configuration, priced per configuration.Choose the table top and shape, the base, the finish, the chair frame and its seat. Because every BenchMade order is configured, we quote it with you on the floor rather than print one price.

Bedroom, motion, occasional

Finish and cover options on most pieces.Beds, dressers and nightstands in your finish; reclining sofas and sectionals in your fabric; cocktail and end tables to match. All built to order.

Fabric grades, in one sentence

Grade decides the price, not the build.Fabrics sit in numbered grades; leathers have their own scale. A Grade 1 sofa and a Grade 5 sofa are the same sofa with a different cover. Performance fabrics exist at several grades, so a Shore-proof cover does not have to be a top-grade one.

Delivery and pickup

We deliver throughout South Jersey: Atlantic City, Ocean City, Cape May, Somers Point, Linwood, Margate, Ventnor, Galloway, Mays Landing and the Shore towns between. In-stock pieces are available for pickup or fast delivery.

Delivery is white-glove: our crew brings the piece in, sets it up in the room and takes the packaging away. Removal of old furniture or a mattress is available for a charge and has to be arranged when you schedule the delivery.

Bassett's warranty, as Bassett publishes it

For the original purchaser, under normal household use: domestic frames 7 years, imported frames 5; springs 5; domestic seat cushion cores limited lifetime (7 years), imported 3; motion mechanisms 5; fabrics and leather 1; power motors and components 1. What does fabric grade mean on a Bassett sofa?
Fabrics are grouped into numbered grades that set the price; the frame, springs and cushions are identical at every grade. Leathers have their own scale. Performance fabrics are available at more than one grade, so a durable cover need not be the most expensive one.
What is BenchMade?
Bassett's configure-it-yourself dining and casual seating program. You choose the table top, shape, base, finish and the chairs' frame and seat, and the set is built to that configuration. Because each order is unique it is priced per configuration, with a consultant on our floor.
How long does a Bassett order take?
Bassett states 6 to 8 weeks for True Custom upholstery. Dining and bedroom lead times vary by collection; we give you the expected date when you order and call to schedule delivery when the piece arrives.
How do Bassett modular sectionals work?
Start with an anchor piece (sofa, loveseat or chaise) and add corners, armless pieces and wedges to fit the room. Chaise and cuddler pieces come left- or right-arm facing. A Kensington designer draws the layout to your measurements before you order.
