Which side is the chaise on?

Face the sofa; the side the chaise is on is the name.A right-arm-facing chaise is on your right as you look at the sofa from the front. Stand where you will walk into the room and decide which side keeps the walkway clear. Many models come in both.

Two pieces or three?

Two pieces fit most rooms; three add a corner or an armless seat.A 2-piece is a sofa plus a chaise. A 3-piece adds a corner wedge or an armless chair for an L that seats five or six. Larger L and U shapes are in the 4-piece and 5-piece collections.

Measure twice

Wall length, and the door and stairs on the way in.Write down the wall length for the sofa side and the depth available for the chaise. Then measure the door, the hallway and any turn on the stairs; each piece has to make that trip separately.

We deliver throughout South Jersey: Atlantic City, Ocean City, Cape May, Somers Point, Linwood, Margate, Ventnor, Galloway, Mays Landing and the Shore towns between. In-stock pieces are available for pickup or fast delivery.

Delivery is white-glove: our crew brings the piece in, sets it up in the room and takes the packaging away. Removal of old furniture or a mattress is available for a charge and has to be arranged when you schedule the delivery.

Chaise sectional questions, answered

What does left-arm facing or right-arm facing mean?

It describes where the arm, and so the chaise, sits when you face the sofa from the front. A right-arm-facing chaise is on your right as you look at it. Most models come in both; a designer will confirm which fits your room before you order.

How do I know a sectional will fit through the door?

Measure the door, the hallway and any turn on the stairs, and compare them with the depth and height of each piece on the product page; pieces travel separately. A Kensington designer checks the delivery path for free when you share the measurements.

Which chaise sectionals are in stock?

Many Ashley and Benchcraft chaise sectionals are in stock for pickup or fast delivery; look for the in-stock badge. Jonathan Louis, Bassett and England sectionals in a custom cover are built to order and we give you the expected date when you order.

Can I get a chaise sectional with a sleeper or recliners?

Yes. Sleeper sectionals put a pull-out under the sofa cushions, and reclining sectionals add power or manual recliners to the seats; both are separate collections linked above.

What is the difference between a chaise sectional and a cuddler?

A chaise is a long, narrow seat for one person's legs; a cuddler is a wider, rounded corner seat that two can share. Cuddler sectionals are a smaller collection with their own page.

Can I choose the fabric?

On Jonathan Louis, Bassett and England sectionals, yes: hundreds of fabrics and leathers, chosen on the floor from swatches. In-stock Ashley sectionals come in the fabric shown, often a performance fabric.
