Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Ninety inches of height changes what a bookcase can do. The Ventura large etagere runs 40 inches wide and just 16 deep, drawing the eye up instead of eating floor space — a full wall of display for books, baskets, and the things worth looking at, built of elm wood.
It shares the Ventura collection's neo-traditional bones and comes stocked in Shell White and Chalk Slate, with custom options and USA construction behind it. Occasional tables and bedroom pieces in the same finishes make it simple to build the room, or the whole house, around one line.
Shore houses from Linwood to Ocean City lean on vertical storage — tall walls, tight footprints. Stop by our Northfield showroom to get a feel for comparable Bassett pieces at this scale.
