Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Long and lean at 72 inches by just 14 deep, the Vansant console table is made for the spots most furniture can't use — behind a sofa, along an entry wall, under a window. Hand-applied metal cladding in a subtle brass finish covers its classic frame, which stands a little over 32 inches high.
A console table takes real traffic — keys, bags, mail — and the metal cladding is durable enough to take it without fuss. Bassett builds the piece in the USA, alongside the matching Vansant square cocktail table and cube lamp table.
Pairing brass with the finishes you already own is easier with help; a design consultant at our showroom can pull samples and talk placement.

Its long, shallow footprint — 72 by 14 inches — is shaped for behind-sofa or entry-wall duty. Check your sofa's back height against the table's 32.3 inches.
