Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Universal's Willow Chest holds eight drawers in a 56-inch-wide, 52-inch-tall case finished in the light Willow tone, and it hides the details that matter: soft-close guides on every drawer, cedar lining in the bottom row, and a removable black felt-lined jewelry tray in each top drawer.
Tall chests suit rooms where the wall between the windows is narrow; this one is 19 inches deep. In a shared bedroom in Linwood it can take one person's wardrobe while the six-drawer Willow dresser takes the other's, and the Willow Mirror goes over the dresser.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), or pick up at the store.
