Destin Blue fabric over a softly pitched back and sculpted arms, on legs in Universal's Natural finish — the Whitby Recliner is the recliner that passes for an armchair. It is 32 inches wide, 38 deep and 38 tall, with the reclining function built into the frame rather than announced by it. The seat is 25 inches deep and 20 inches from the floor; the arms are at 26.
The 25-inch seat depth is two inches deeper than the Vaught recliner's, a chair to settle into before it reclines at all, and the exposed Natural legs keep it visually light. It comes as shown in Destin Blue, a stocked cover. In a Wildwood living room with white walls, the blue is the color in the room; in Northfield, beside a neutral sofa, it is the accent.
