Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Curves in the back and arms and a full 360-degree swivel underneath — the Walter Swivel Chair is one of Universal's newer accent chairs, 31 inches wide, 35 deep and 37 tall. It comes as shown in Yukon Sand, a stocked woven fabric. The seat is 22 inches deep and 21 from the floor, and the arms sit at 25 inches.
A swivel chair earns its place where a room has two focal points: a pair of Walters between the sofa and the windows in a Wildwood living room turn to the water by day and back to the room at night. The 31-inch width lets two sit where one large chair would go, and the same Yukon Sand covers the Tucker reclining pieces if you want the fabric to carry across the room.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), or pick up at the store.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
Yes — it sits on a 360-degree swivel base.
31 inches wide, 35 inches deep, 37 inches tall; seat depth 22 inches, seat height 21 inches, arms 25 inches.
Yukon Sand, a stocked woven fabric. The chair comes as shown in it.
No — the Walter is an accent chair on a swivel base, not a recliner. For swivel plus recline, see the Vaught Swivel Glide Recliner.
Slightly taller than the 18-to-20-inch seats on most sofas, which makes it easy to get up from; the 22-inch seat depth keeps it upright rather than lounging.
