Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Casters under a fully upholstered dining chair are the Walsh's defining detail: pull it out one-handed with a plate in the other, and roll it back in. It is covered in Monique Linen, 25 inches wide and 25 deep with a 34-inch back, the seat at 19 inches and the arms at 25 — a wide, rounded, sculptural seat rather than a slim side chair.
Use it as the host chair at the ends of the Avaline Dining Table or Volpi Dining Table, where the 25-inch arms pass under the 30-inch top, or as a desk chair in a home office — the casters and arms make it one. It has no exposed wood, so it matches either Avaline finish.
You can see comparable Universal dining chairs at our showroom. We offer white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies), or you can pick up at the store.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
Yes — it is on casters, so it pulls away from the table without lifting or dragging.
25 inches wide, 25 inches deep, 34 inches tall, with a 19-inch seat and 25-inch arms.
Monique Linen, the same cover as the Avaline Arm Chair and Raen Side Chair.
The Avaline and Volpi dining tables are 30 inches tall and the arms are 25, so the arms pass under the table edge.
Yes. The casters, the arms and the 19-inch seat make it a practical desk chair at a standard 29- to 30-inch desk.
