Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Sharp angles and open gaps in the frame, all of it upholstered in Canberra Ivory, make the Vesper Chair the most sculptural seat in Universal's New Modern group. It is 25 inches wide, 23 deep and 32 tall, with a 19-inch seat and arms at 25, and it sits on glides that let it slide on a hard floor.
Because it is fully upholstered there is no wood finish to match, so it goes with any Modern table — the Natural Oak Malone, the White Travertine Meadow, the Solara on its pewter base. At 25 inches wide it needs more table edge than a side chair; six fit the 86-inch Malone comfortably, ten with both leaves in.
Canberra Ivory is the stocked cover; special-order covers may be available through our team.

19 inches; the arms are 25 inches, so they slide under a 30-inch table.

Yes, glides on the feet for moving it on wood or tile.
At 25 inches wide, allow about 26 to 28 inches per chair — six on an 86-inch table, four around a 52- or 54-inch round.
