Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Swivel, glide and recline in a chair only 29 inches wide — the Vaught Swivel Glide Recliner is Universal's answer to the oversized recliner: a clean-lined, firmly cushioned seat on a swivel glide base, with the reclining function built into the frame. It comes as shown in Luminance Caribou leather, a stocked cover. The chair is 39 inches deep and 40 tall; the seat is 23 inches deep and 20 from the floor, with the arms at 24.
The small footprint is the point: a bedroom corner, or a den that already has a sofa. The swivel turns it toward the television or the conversation; the glide gives a smooth back-and-forth motion; the recline is there when you want it.
