Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Button tufting covers the headboard and footboard of the Uptown Bed in Woven Pewter, a gray fabric of 66 percent polyester and 34 percent rayon, over feet finished in Alabaster. The headboard stands 58 inches; the queen is 66 inches wide and the king 82, both 89 inches long. The bed takes a mattress and box spring — the rails hold the bottom of the box spring about 7 and 9/16 inches off the floor.
It is from Love. Joy. Bliss., the Miranda Kerr Home collection for Universal, where the gray fabric is the quiet piece among white lacquer and Alabaster cases. The Chelsea Nightstand and Chelsea Dresser in Alabaster match the feet; the Peony Nightstand in White Lacquer is the lighter option. In a Northfield primary bedroom with white walls, the pewter headboard is the one thing the eye lands on.
The Mattress Store inside our showroom has a 7-minute pressure-mapping test for the mattress to go with it. White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies).
