Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
El Paso Ivory leather, a smooth cream hide, covers the Tucker Reclining Sofa from the tall cushioned backs to the flange-edged arms. Universal builds it as a fixed three-over-three sofa — three seats, three back cushions — with the reclining seats at the two ends and the center seat stationary. It is 90 inches wide, 41 deep and 42 tall, on spring-down seat cushions.
A light leather reclining sofa wants the right room: a den or family room where it can be the one large piece, with a cocktail table set far enough forward to leave the footrests room to rise. The Tucker Recliner we list comes in Yukon Sand fabric rather than leather, so an ivory leather sofa with a sand fabric chair is the way the two pair.
