Navy stripes run up the 49-inch back of the Surfside Wing Chair — Universal's Nomad Snow, a Crypton performance fabric of 92 percent polyester and 8 percent linen, with a Cannes New Navy stripe in 100 percent cotton. The frame stands on tapered legs in the Brownstone finish; the chair is 32 inches wide and 35 deep, with a 24-inch seat depth and arms at 26 inches.
A wing chair this tall is a room's reading chair: the wings block the draft from a window, the deep seat takes a tucked-up foot. One beside a fireplace, or a pair facing a sofa, is the usual arrangement. It comes as shown in the striped Nomad Snow; special-order covers may be available through our team. The Surfside is from the Getaway collection in Universal's Coastal Living Home Collection, and you can see comparable Universal chairs in our Northfield showroom.
