The dark side of Universal's Sable & Desert line is the Sable Bed: a 62-inch headboard upholstered in Monique Linen, held in a frame finished in deep charcoal Sable. The contrast between the light linen and the near-black wood is the whole design. This listing is the queen, 66 inches wide and 90 inches long, and the bed takes a mattress and box spring.
Dark wood and pale fabric is a forgiving combination — it suits a Longport bedroom with white trim as well as a room with darker walls — and the Sable case pieces follow it: the Sable Dune Chest with touch-latch drawers and built-in power, the Sable Eight or Nine Drawer Dresser, the Sable Mirror. The pale version is the Desert Bed.
You can see comparable Universal beds at our showroom, where the Mattress Store offers a 7-minute pressure-mapping test. Ask our team about white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies) or pickup at the store.
