Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A panel of White Quartz set into a tall headboard in Universal's Mist finish gives the Quartz Bed its name and its one flourish: light oak around cool stone, nothing else. The headboard is 60 inches tall; the queen frame is 66 inches wide and 91 inches long, the king 82 inches wide. It belongs to the Mist & Veil line, designed in High Point, North Carolina.
The stone repeats on the Quartz Dresser and the Quartz Drawer Chest, both topped in White Quartz over Mist cases with Smoked Gold hardware, so the room carries the material at three heights — headboard, dresser top, chest top. Stone does not take a lamp ring the way wood can; it is also heavy, which white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies) takes care of.
A design consultant in our showroom can show you the Mist and White Quartz pairing on comparable Universal pieces.
