Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Low, wide and fully upholstered, the Nikolai Lounge Chair sits 17 inches off the floor with a 23-inch-deep seat — a chair to settle into rather than perch on. It is 33 inches wide, 30 deep and 32 tall, covered in Asbury Oyster, a 100 percent polyester fabric, on metal legs in Universal's Carbon finish with adjustable levelers so it sits flat.
Universal groups it with the Coalesce collection, and the Asbury Oyster cover is the same one on the Coalesce dining chairs, so a living room and a dining room that open onto each other can share one fabric. The low back keeps it from blocking a window; two of them facing a sofa across the Coalesce Cocktail Table is the usual arrangement. It comes as shown in Asbury Oyster; special-order covers may be available through our team.
