Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Lift the top and there is power: a hinged flip top on the New Lou Nightstand opens over a power supply for the phone and the reading light, and the top rail hides a third drawer above the two you can see. The case is 32 inches wide, 19 deep and 31 tall in Universal's warm Cognac finish with Antique Bronze pulls.
At 31 inches it is the tallest nightstand in this group of Universal pieces, sized for a traditional bed with a box spring and a tall mattress. Two of them with the 12-drawer Drawer Dresser and the Vertical Storage Mirror make the New Lou bedroom; the hidden drawer is where the passport and the spare keys go.

Cognac, with Antique Bronze hardware, matching the rest of Universal's New Lou collection.
For a platform bed it may sit high; for a bed with a box spring and a thick mattress it is about right. Our team can check it against your bed.
