Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
One shelf below a 72-inch White Quartz top, on pale oak legs in Universal's Mist leg finish: the Mist Console is 18 inches deep and 28 tall, a long table with a second surface for baskets, books or a row of framed photographs. It belongs to the Mist & Veil line of the Modern collection.
Twenty-eight inches is a little lower than most consoles, which suits a sofa with a low back or a hallway where you want to see over it to the wall. The stone top takes keys, mail and a lamp. It pairs with the Mist Cocktail Table and Mist End Table, which carry the same White Quartz, and with the Mist Dining Table and chairs in a dining room where a buffet would be too much.

72 inches long, 18 inches deep, 28 inches tall.
Yes — one open shelf below the top.
White Quartz stone.
Universal's pale oak finish on the legs, shared by the Mist Cocktail Table and Mist End Table.
It is drawn a little lower than a standard console so it sits below a low sofa back or under a window sill; it is also a comfortable height for a lamp beside a chair.

End tables are sized to sit beside a sofa or chair arm; accent and spot tables are smaller and move where you need them. Check the height against your seating.
Most Universal collections include coordinating pieces — beds, nightstands, dressers, tables and seating designed to work together. A design consultant can show you what's available in the current line.
