Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Angled arms and exposed legs in Universal's Brownstone finish give the Mebane Sofa its casual line — an 84-inch sofa in a two-over-two layout, two seat cushions over two back cushions, with self toss pillows cut from the same Rani Arctic fabric it comes as shown in. The frame is 40 inches deep and 36 tall; the seat is 23 inches deep and 20 inches from the floor, the arms at 26.
Two-over-two means two wide seats rather than three narrow ones, and no center seam to sit on. At 84 inches it suits an apartment living room or a shore-house den in Brigantine or Galloway where the sofa has to fit between a door and a window. The Sophie Chair and the Rhodes pieces also come in Rani Arctic, so one fabric can run through the room.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
Two seat cushions over two back cushions — two wide seats across the 84-inch width instead of three.
84 inches wide, 40 inches deep, 36 inches tall; seat depth 23, seat height 20, arm height 26 inches.
Toss pillows cut from the sofa's own fabric, Rani Arctic, so they match the body exactly.
Brownstone, on exposed legs.
The Sophie Chair comes in Rani Arctic too; for contrast, the Hudson Swivel Chair in Nomad Snow or the Jensen Accent Chair in Winchester Sandstone leather.
