Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Two doors wrapped in Meadow wallpaper on a Willow-finished case: the Meadow Hall Chest is the small cabinet in Universal's Birchaven collection, 44 inches wide, 18 deep and 37 tall, with two adjustable shelves behind the doors.
Universal calls it a hall chest, and in an entry it hides the things a hall collects — gloves, leashes, the mail. In a bedroom it is a tall nightstand with real storage; in a dining room it is a small server at a usable 37-inch height.
Ask a consultant in our Northfield showroom to show you how the Meadow pieces — nightstand, wardrobe, credenza, display cabinet — work together in one room.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide

Yes. The Meadow nightstand, wardrobe, credenza, cocktail table, end table and display cabinet all use the same Willow case and Meadow fronts.

Coastal Living is a licensed collection designed with Coastal Living magazine and built by Universal — relaxed, light, shore-house styling across bedroom, dining and living room pieces.
Universal designs each collection as a set, so the nightstands, dressers and chests share the bed's finish and hardware. A design consultant can confirm which pieces coordinate.
