Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Wheels under a dining chair are an idea borrowed from the office, and the Mainsail Side Chair makes the case for it: Nomad Snow, a Crypton performance fabric, over the whole chair, a flange welt tracing the edges, and casters so it rolls back from the table instead of scraping. It is 20 inches wide, 23 deep and 36 tall, with the seat at 19 inches.
The 36-inch back is the tallest among Universal's Oasis dining chairs, which gives a glass-topped Coral table or the pale Shoreline table some presence. For a Somers Point dining room that doubles as the homework table, the casters and the wipeable Crypton are the two things you will be glad of. The Oasis group belongs to the Coastal Living Home Collection.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
Yes — casters, so the chair rolls rather than drags.
Nomad Snow, a Crypton performance fabric, over the full chair with a flange welt detail.
20 inches wide, 23 inches deep, 36 inches tall; seat height 19 inches.
Our team can confirm the caster type when you order; a rug under the table settles the question on wood floors.
Any Oasis table — the Coral glass tops, the Dockside oak tables or the Shoreline round. The tall back pairs well with the 100-inch Coral Rectangle Dining Table.
