Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Stainless ferrules cap the four legs of the Longboat Dining Chair — brushed stainless steel at the foot of a woven frame in Universal's White Split Rattan finish, with a seat in Nomad Snow fabric 19 inches off the floor. The chair is 22 inches wide, 23 deep and 33 tall.
Thirty-three inches is a low back, which keeps a table of six from looking like a fence; the Marco Side Chair at 40 inches is the tall one in the same white rattan, and the two mix. Six of them around a 72-inch table is a comfortable count. It is the dining chair of the Weekender group of the Coastal Living Home Collection, and the Longboat Counter Chair is the same chair at island height. Comparable Universal seating can be tried in our Northfield showroom.
