Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A wide, low chest rather than a tall one, the Lizmore Chest puts four drawers in a 50-inch-wide case that stands 42 inches tall and 19 deep, finished in Universal's White Oak. Metal ring pulls sit inside circular detailing on each drawer front, which is the piece's one flourish. A tip kit and adjustable levelers are included.
The 42-inch height is the useful part: lower than the 56-inch Carmen Chest, higher than the 36-inch dressers, it is a comfortable height for a television in a bedroom or for a mirror hung above in a hall. In the Avaline collection it pairs with the Avaline Dresser, the Avaline Nightstand and the Owen Storage Bed in White Oak.
Comparable Universal pieces can be seen at our showroom, and white-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies).
