Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Twenty-one inches square at the top and 24 inches tall, the Hermosa Square End Table carries subtle carved detailing in a White Sand finish — the squared version of the Hermosa End Table, from Universal's Weekender collection.
Choose the square where it sits against a wall or in a corner, so its edges line up with the sofa arm and the baseboard; the round one is for the open end of a sofa. At 24 inches it is arm height for most sofas, with room on top for a lamp and a glass. A pair flanking a sofa in a Cape May living room makes a calm, symmetrical wall. It belongs to the Coastal Living Home Collection, and the Hermosa cocktail tables share its finish.
