Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Winged, button-tufted and finished with a fine nail head trim, the Halston Bed is the fully upholstered bed in Universal's Halston collection, covered in Blended Linen-Stone — a 50% linen, 50% polyester fabric — and listed in Universal's Graphite finish. This listing is the queen: 71 inches wide, 87 long and 60 inches tall at the headboard. It takes a mattress and box spring.
The wings and the 60-inch height give the headboard presence without bulk, and the stone-toned linen blend keeps it quiet rather than formal. It is the bed for a primary bedroom that wants one tailored piece and plain nightstands; a design consultant can match case goods to it.
Our Northfield showroom has comparable Universal upholstered beds, and the Mattress Store inside it runs a 7-minute pressure-mapping test to match a mattress and box spring to a bed like this. We offer white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies), or you can pick up at the store.
