White Travertine stone, 57 inches across, on a cast aluminum base finished in Bronze — the Griffith Park Round Dining Table is the stone-and-metal table in a collection otherwise built of wood. The base is cast with a textured surface and crosses beneath the top in an X; adjustable levelers keep a stone top dead flat, which matters. Height is 30 inches.
A 57-inch round seats six comfortably with room for a seventh, and nobody fights a table leg. Travertine is a natural stone, so the veining and the small pits vary from top to top. Pair it with the Canyon Side Chairs for cord against stone, or the Sienna Upholstered Side Chairs for a softer ring. Universal designed the group in High Point, North Carolina.
