Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Hand-forged texture in the oil rubbed bronze metal base and a slab of Gray Travertine on top: the Griffith Park Console is 60 inches long, 16 deep and 34 tall, the stone-and-metal console in Universal's Griffith Park collection, on adjustable levelers.
Thirty-four inches is taller than most sofa backs, so this one is an entry or dining-room piece rather than a sofa table — a landing for keys in a Northfield foyer, or the serving ledge in a Stone Harbor dining room where the stone shrugs off a hot dish. The base curves in an oval beneath the top, and the Griffith Park Cocktail Table carries the same travertine and bronze into the living room. Universal designed the pair in High Point, North Carolina.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies); our crew carries the stone.
