Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A slender metal frame holding a tall headboard and a footboard, both upholstered in Berber Fleece — a soft, textured fabric — the Griffith Park Bed is the lightest-looking bed in Universal's Griffith Park collection and, at 66 inches, the tallest at the headboard. The queen is 63 inches wide; the king is 79; both are 86 inches long and take a mattress and box spring.
Metal keeps the footprint visually small, so the bed suits a room where a wood panel bed would crowd the walls, and the fleece warms a modern frame. The Sienna Dresser and Sienna Chest in the same collection give it wood to sit against; the Griffith Park Mirror, in metal, matches the frame.
Try the Mattress Store's 7-minute pressure-mapping test inside our Northfield showroom before you choose the mattress and box spring. We offer white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies), or you can pick up at the store.
