Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Ayers Vanilla, a looped, tonal fabric in a creamy neutral, covers the Filmore Swivel Chair — a chair with softly flared arms, relaxed cushions and a tall 38-inch back, 32 inches wide and 41 inches deep. The seat is 21 inches high and 24 deep; the arms are at 26.
Forty-one inches of depth is a lot of chair, and the 38-inch back is a full head higher than the low-backed swivel chairs: this is a chair for sitting back in with your head supported. It is the chair for the Filmore Sofa in the same Ayers Vanilla, and in a Ventnor living room the two in a cream loop give the room one soft texture. The swivel base is set in under the frame.
