Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Forty-six inches round and 15 inches tall, the Everdin Cocktail Table is a plain, solid-looking drum in Universal's Abaco White finish — a textured white with some depth to it — from the Nomad group of the Modern collection. Plastic glides under the base let it slide on a hard floor without scratching.
A round cocktail table is the right shape for a sectional with a chaise, or for chairs pulled in from three sides, since there are no corners to walk around. At 15 inches it sits a little below seat height. The Canyo Accent Table is finished in the same Abaco White and makes the natural partner beside the sofa; the Nomad bedroom and dining pieces in White Oak carry the pale, relaxed look into the rest of the house.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), or pick up at the store in Northfield.

Universal designs occasional tables to coordinate with its living room collections. A design consultant can pull together the pieces that work with this one.
End tables are sized to sit beside a sofa or chair arm; accent and spot tables are smaller and move where you need them. Check the height against your seating.
Most Universal collections include coordinating pieces — beds, nightstands, dressers, tables and seating designed to work together. A design consultant can show you what's available in the current line.
