Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Five glass shelves in a welded metal frame finished in Dusty Bronze, the joints ground smooth, make the Dusty Bronze Etagere the lightest tall piece in Universal's Fenwick collection: 84 inches tall, 36 wide and only 14 deep, and you can see straight through it.
Universal lists it for the living room or the office. It takes books, objects and plants without adding visual weight, and because the shelves are glass, the lower ones get light. The metal matches the Dusty Bronze hardware on the Fenwick case pieces; flank the Fenwick Console with a pair, or stand one beside the Fenwick Desk. At 84 inches it should be anchored to the wall, and a tip kit is included for that.
