Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Three open tiers in natural sandblasted quartered oak — that is the whole of the Dockside Console, 68 inches long, 14 deep and 30 tall in Universal's Dockside finish, with no doors or drawers to interrupt the wood.
Fourteen inches deep is shallow enough for a hallway, and the three levels give an entry three places to put things: keys on top, baskets on the shelf below, shoes at the bottom. Behind a sofa it is a 30-inch sofa table; under a mounted TV it holds the components in the open. The Dockside Console Table with the concrete top is the closed-top alternative in the same oak, and both come from Universal's Coastal Living Home Collection.
