Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Four ottomans on casters, each 18 inches square and 16 tall and upholstered in Nomad Snow — a Crypton performance fabric — roll out from under a 38-inch square oak top: the Dockside Cocktail Table with Ottomans is five pieces of furniture that park as one. The table is 18 inches tall in Universal's Dockside finish, natural sandblasted quartered oak.
It solves the shore-house problem of four more people than chairs. On a weeknight in Somers Point it is a cocktail table; on Saturday the ottomans roll out to the sofa, the porch door or the TV, and the Crypton means the damp-towel crowd can sit on them. Oasis is Universal's Coastal Living Home Collection, and the Dockside oak matches the Dockside Console and Credenza.
