Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Solid oak drawer fronts, nine of them, across a 72-inch case 19 inches deep and 36 tall: the Desert Nine Drawer Dresser is the long dresser of Universal's Sable & Desert line, in the pale Desert finish, with a removable black felt-lined jewelry tray in the top left and top right drawers. Adjustable levelers and a tip kit are included.
Nine drawers across 72 inches means smaller, more specific drawers than a six-drawer of the same width — a drawer for scarves, one for the things that otherwise live in a basket. The 36-inch height takes the Desert Mirror in either orientation or the 54-inch Round Accent Mirror. It matches the Desert Panel Bed, the Desert Bed and the Desert Dune Chest; a design consultant at our Northfield store can set the group out on comparable Universal pieces.
