Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Rippled, dune-textured door fronts in Universal's pale Desert finish, opened with a touch — the Desert Dune Hall Chest has no pulls at all, just two touch-latch doors on a 45-inch case that is 20 inches deep and 36 tall, with two adjustable shelves inside and levelers in the feet.
In an entry in Absecon it takes the coats-and-keys overflow behind closed doors; in a dining room it is a small server at 36 inches; beside a bed it is a tall nightstand with real storage. The texture is the same as the Desert Dune Credenza and Desert Dune Chest, and the plain Desert pieces sit beside it without competing.
