Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Low and wide — 34 inches across and only 27 inches tall — the Deke Swivel Chair is covered in Frontier Caribou leather, a brown hide, over a contoured frame whose arms and back meet at the same 27-inch height. The seat is 18 inches from the floor and 25 inches deep; the chair is 32 inches deep overall.
A chair this low does not block a window or a view across a Northfield living room, and the deep seat is for sitting back in rather than perching on. The leather darkens the room a shade; against a pale sofa it is the anchor. It swivels, so it can face the sofa for conversation and the window the rest of the time.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
