Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A T-shaped slab of honed White Travertine, 48 inches long, 14 deep and 30 tall — the Daxton Console Table is stone from top to foot, a single architectural form rather than a top on legs. The honed finish is matte, so the travertine's open pores show instead of a shine. It comes with a tip kit for securing it to the wall and adjustable levelers in the base. Universal designed it in High Point, North Carolina.
Fourteen inches of depth suits a hallway or the wall behind a sofa, where its 30-inch height lines up with most sofa backs. The Daxton Cocktail Table and Daxton Accent Table are the same honed travertine; the group belongs to the New Modern line of Universal's Modern collection.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), and it is the right choice for a piece this weight.

48 inches long, 14 inches deep, 30 inches tall.
Hardware included for anchoring the console to the wall so it cannot tip; we recommend using it, especially with children in the house.
Yes — at 30 inches it sits level with most sofa backs, and 14 inches deep keeps it from pushing the sofa far off the wall.
