Low, long and upholstered, the Colina Bed from Universal's Nomad line is built from a row of rolled, cube-like sections in Canberra Ivory fabric, under a 44-inch headboard. This listing is the queen, 69 inches wide and a full 102 inches long, designed for a mattress only — no box spring, which keeps the profile this low.
The 102-inch length is the number to check: a frame that long needs about three feet of walkway beyond the foot, so plan on a room roughly 13 to 14 feet deep if it faces a dresser. In a Brigantine beach-house bedroom with a wide window, a low headboard leaves the view alone. The Sischo Bench in Canberra Ivory sits at the foot; the Nomad Six Drawer Dresser in White Oak completes the group.
The Mattress Store inside our showroom runs a 7-minute pressure-mapping test. Ask our team about white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies) or pickup at the store.

This listing is the queen: 69 inches wide, 102 inches long, 44 inches tall at the headboard.
No. The Colina is designed for a mattress only; the mattress sits directly on the platform.
Our team can confirm other sizes when you order.
Canberra Ivory, the same fabric Universal uses on the Nomad Bed and the Sischo Bench.
The upholstered frame extends well beyond a queen mattress, which is where the 102-inch overall length comes from. Measure for the frame, not the mattress.

It depends on the bed. Universal designs some beds for a mattress only and others for a mattress and box spring — the product page says which applies, and our team can confirm before you order.
Yes. Any standard mattress in the right size works. The Mattress Store inside our Northfield showroom has a 7-minute pressure-mapping test to help you choose.
Universal designs each collection as a set, so the nightstands, dressers and chests share the bed's finish and hardware. A design consultant can confirm which pieces coordinate.
