Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Slender vertical rods form the back of the Coalesce Side Chair, which keeps it open and light at a table that already has upholstered arm chairs at the ends. The frame is finished in Universal's Rolling Fog, the seat is upholstered in Asbury Oyster, and the chair is 21 inches wide, 24 deep and 40 tall with the seat 19 inches from the floor.
It is the everyday chair of the Coalesce dining group: four of them along the Rasmus Round Dining Table with the Coalesce Arm Chairs in the two facing seats. At 21 inches wide, six fit around the 52-inch Rasmus without crowding, and the open rod back lets you see the table through the chairs from the next room.
