Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Sky Silver Lining, a 100 percent polyester performance fabric, covers the seat of this Carter Side Chair, and the angular base is finished in Universal's Quartz, the light tone in the Modern Origins group. At 20 inches wide, 25 deep and 34 tall it is a compact side chair; assembly is required.
Performance fabric earns its place at a table that sees homework, takeout and the occasional spilled glass, which is most tables. In a bright kitchen-dining room in Absecon, the light Quartz base keeps the room open where a dark chair would close it in. The Flint version of the same chair, in washed Belgian linen, is the darker option.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), or pick up at the store.
