Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Casters under a 42-inch-square stone top let the Carmen Cocktail Table roll aside for a game on the floor or a crowd on the sofa, then roll back. The base is finished in Universal's Skylark tone with the indented vertical texture of the Carmen group, and the table stands 16 inches tall.
A square table suits a sectional or two facing sofas better than a rectangle, and 42 inches is the size for a sofa of 84 to 96 inches. The stone top is a hard, flat surface for drinks and trays; the Carmen Side Table and Spot Table in Skylark carry the same stone and finish to the sofa ends.
You can see comparable Universal tables at our showroom. White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies).

Universal designs occasional tables to coordinate with its living room collections. A design consultant can pull together the pieces that work with this one.
End tables are sized to sit beside a sofa or chair arm; accent and spot tables are smaller and move where you need them. Check the height against your seating.
Most Universal collections include coordinating pieces — beds, nightstands, dressers, tables and seating designed to work together. A design consultant can show you what's available in the current line.
