Tambour — thin vertical wood slats wrapped around the base — gives the Carmen Bunching Stool its texture, finished in Universal's Skylark tone under a cushioned top in Sheldon Ivory. It is 16 inches square and 19 inches tall, on adjustable levelers.
Bunching means they push together: two make a bench at the foot of the Owen Storage Bed A, three line up under a window, one pulls up to the Carmen Cocktail Table when the sofa is full. The slats match the vertical detailing on the Carmen case pieces in Skylark.
