Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Woven Danish cord fills the headboard and footboard of the Canyon Post Bed, stretched between posts finished in Universal's Canyon tone — the same cord Universal weaves into the Canyon Side Chair in the Griffith Park dining room. The queen frame is 65 inches wide, 88 long and 58 tall, and it is built to take a mattress and box spring or a mattress only, whichever your mattress depth calls for.
The weave is the point: it is lighter than a panel, lets air and light through, and gives a rustic-modern room its texture. It pairs with the Canyon Chest and Canyon Mirror, or crosses finishes with the Sienna Dresser if you prefer a mix.
You can see comparable Universal beds in our Northfield showroom, where the Mattress Store's 7-minute pressure-mapping test can settle the mattress question. Ask our team about white-glove delivery (delivery fee applies) or pickup at the store.
