Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Amherst Denim covers the Camille Swivel Chair from its curved back to its tailored base, and the chair turns a full 360 degrees on the swivel beneath it. It is 30 inches wide, 35 deep and 34 tall; the seat is 20 inches high and 23 deep, and the arms rise to 27.
The curves are the whole design — no straight line from the back around to the arms — so the chair looks finished from behind, which matters when it floats in a room rather than sits against a wall. Amherst Denim is also the pillow fabric on the Clermont Sofa, so the two were meant to share a room: chalk sofa, denim chair, denim pillows.
