Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Two cushions over two — the Brooklyn Sofa seats on two wide cushions with two matching back cushions, a layout that gives two people a seat each without a center seam and three a comfortable squeeze. It is 96 inches long, 40 deep and 34 tall in Monique Linen, a 100 percent polyester performance fabric, on block legs finished in Espresso. Seat height is 20 inches, seat depth 24, arms 22.
The low back and arms suit a room where the sofa floats in the middle rather than against a wall; from behind it is a clean 34-inch line. Monique Linen is a performance weave, built for ordinary household wear — spills, dogs, Sunday afternoons.
The Brooklyn Chair and Ottoman complete the set. See comparable Universal sofas at our family-run store in Northfield; white-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies).
