Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Block legs in Espresso, a kidney pillow at the small of the back and a 36-inch-wide seat — the Brooklyn Chair is the chair-and-a-half version of the Brooklyn Sofa, covered in Monique Linen, a 100 percent polyester performance fabric. It is 40 inches deep and 34 tall, with the seat 20 inches from the floor and 24 inches deep, and the arms at 22.
The low 22-inch arms and the 34-inch back keep it from looming in a small room, and the deep seat is the reason for the kidney pillow. Monique Linen reads as linen but is a woven polyester built for daily use. Put it beside the 96-inch Brooklyn Sofa with the Brooklyn Ottoman in front, all in the same cover, or use it on its own with a floor lamp.
