Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Twisted abaca, hand-wrapped around the entire pedestal, is what sets the Brindle Wrapped Dining Table apart: a 54-inch round top in Universal's Brindle finish on a base of woven natural fiber. One 18-inch leaf takes it to 72 inches, round to oval, and it stands 30 inches tall.
A 54-inch round seats six; the leaf makes room for eight. The pedestal means no legs in the way of knees, which matters when the Woven Chairs with arms are pulled up. The Brindle Woven Chair's abaca back matches the base; the oval or plain side chairs keep it quieter.
You can see comparable Universal tables in our Northfield showroom. White-glove delivery is available throughout South Jersey (delivery fee applies).
