Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Two drawers in the footboard, both on soft-close guides, give the Brindle Storage Bed a job the panel bed doesn't have: a place for spare linens and off-season blankets at the foot of the bed. The headboard is the same plain panel in Universal's Brindle finish, and the queen frame measures 68 inches wide by 87 long with a 54-inch headboard. It is designed for a mattress only, no box spring needed.
In a room without a closet to spare — a shore-house guest room in Somers Point, say — the footboard storage replaces a blanket chest and keeps the floor clear. The Brindle nightstands and dressers match it; the Willow pieces give a lighter contrast if you want to mix the two Birchaven finishes.
Our design consultants can lay out the full Birchaven bedroom with you at the Northfield showroom. White-glove delivery is available throughout South Jersey (delivery fee applies).
