Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Lower and more compact than the oval chair, the Brindle Side Chair stands 34 inches tall with a 19-inch seat in Bilma Natural fabric and a frame in Universal's Brindle finish — 20 inches wide, 21 deep.
Universal designs it to pair with both Birchaven dining tables, and its smaller footprint is the reason to choose it for the round 54-inch Brindle Wrapped Dining Table, where six chairs need to tuck in close. At the rectangular table, use it along the sides and the oval chairs at the ends.
Comparable Universal dining chairs can be tried in our Northfield showroom.
